The problem with the dual is the electrodes are exposed and subject to failure (tickr has the same problem). If you sweat a lot this will cause it to break. You could try adding a tiny piece of thin cardboard between the battery and the battery cover, to apply some extra pressure when you tighten the screws down.
If it's really too big for you, Garmin sells a smaller HR strap (Amazon ). And if that fails, you can get the 'premium' HRM strap, which fits better overall (but is much more expensive and will still likely need to be replaced in about a year or two when the elastic wears out.) The HRM-Dual will simply broadcast your hr in real-time. It will depend on how the device/app that is receiving the data is designed. I would expect that the app would show you the real-time hr as it records the activity. The HRM-Dual doesn't have the ability to store any hr data, it simply broadcasts the readings to any paired devices. A polar The connect app and my forerunner 35 provide heart rate already but I’ve heard from multiple sources now that it’s pretty inaccurate, so wanted the HRM Dual for accurate data. I think I’m running into problems because the HRM D doesn’t connect directly to my forerunner 35 or to the garmin connect app. C’est la vie. . 383 295 360 192 399 43 119 222 342
